He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert and Mamie Saxton Maudlin; his son Jack K. Mauldin, Jr.; his granddaughter Tristyn Holcomb; and his siblings, Dora Goreman, Clara Bell Williams, Bobbie Nell Foster and Eddie Lee Mauldin, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Debra Mauldin of New Augusta; his children, Pamela Wren (Bill) of Brandon, Dianne Barefoot (Dale) of Vicksburg, Sue Allen (Glenn) of Benton, Kristy Broadhead of Gautier, Karen Hurlbert (Ross) of Long Beach and Ryan Irby (Jennifer) of Alexandria, LA; and his grandchildren, Jack K. Mauldin, III, Kendra Mauldin, Christie Broadwater (Chris), Becky Wilbanks (Skyler), William K Wren, Abbye Allen, Paul Allen (Nicole), Philip Allen (Sarah), Lydia Fouche' (Ben), Kaitlyn Kitchens (Kollyn), Darby Locke, Grayson Locke, Jessica Holcomb, Aaron Holifield and Evan Grace Irby. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
