He is survived by: his wife Betty Nell Montague Chapman; his children, Lynne Kenna (Joey) of Forest, MS and Clay Chapman (Susan) of Hickory, MS.; and his grandchildren, Drew Kenna (Kery) of Forest, MS, Ben Kenna of Charlotte, NC, Haley Justice (Robert) of Meridian, MS and Kelly McQueen (Dylan) of Lake, MS.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Newton (307 E Church St, Newton, MS 39345). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at the Newton County Memorial Gardens (9998 MS-15, Newton, MS 39345).
