It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Wilbur Walker of Newton, Mississippi, born in Hickory, Mississippi, who passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Pam Boyette (Billy Joe); his parents, Johnny Walker and Beatrice Leigh Walker; and his sister Joan Smith. He is survived by: his wife Grace Motley Walker of Hickory; his sons, Don Walker (Debra Jo) of Chunky, Johnny Howard Walker (Debbie) of Hickory and Tommy Walker (Joan) of Hickory; and his sister Ruth Arnold of Meridian. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
