We announce the death of Marion Henton Bufkin (Newton, Mississippi), who passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Hugh Clyde Bufkin and Merle Henton Bufkin; and his siblings, Truett S. Bufkin, Billie B. Bufkin, Cary Egbert Bufkin and Hilda Bufkin Lay.
He is survived by: his wife Shirely J. Bufkin; and his sister-in-law Fonda Holladay. He is also survived by four nieces and one nephew.
