She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Flaherty and Beulah Flaherty; her husband Walter Boutwell, Jr.; and her daughter Rebecca. She is survived by: her children, Michael Boutwell and Christy Simpson (Michael); her grandchildren, Morgan Carroll, Madison Carroll, Corbin Simpson and Alex Boutwell; and her sisters, Syble Taylor and Dotti Horn. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
To honor her love for her Church and Music, the family kindly suggests donations be made in her name to First Baptist Church Music Dept. in lieu of flowers.
