He is survived by: his brother Russell Earl Wilson of Madison, MS; his niece Lee Ann Peoples of Halifax; his sons, Stephen Wilson of Fort Myers and Geoff Wilson of Spartanburg; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Larissa Goodrich of Spanish Fort, Gerri Wilson of Jackson, MS and Morgan Elizabeth Wilson of Meridian, MS.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Mississippi Fraternal Order of Police or to Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church.
