He was predeceased by: his father Otha Hartness, Jr.; and his grandparents, Robert and Ida Mae Dickerson. He is survived by: his mother Reta Dickerson Hartness of Noxapater, MS; his siblings, Angela Hartness of Noxapater, MS and Terry Shayne Hartness of Willard, MO; and his son Robert Dalton Hartness (Chloe) of Alabama. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
