He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wesley Clay and Elsie Elizabeth Wood Clay; and his siblings, Jimmy Clay and Janie Persons. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Drury Clay; his daughters, Amy Wilkes (Chet) of Noxapater and Kayla Snow (John Damon) of Noxapater; his grandchildren, Madelyn Wilkes, Nona Wilkes, Wes Snow and Lilah Snow; and his sister Sue Clay Ward (Billy "Rabbit"). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
