She was predeceased by: her son Joey Ward; her parents, Clarence Poe McWilliams, Sr. and Ellen Letchworth; and her sister Mildred Smith. She is survived by: her husband William "Pete" Ward of Oak Vale, MS; her children, Jimmy Ward (Elisha), Nanette Ward Cole (Jack Jr.) and Bobbie Jean Ward Dunaway (Robbie); her grandchildren, Amanda Robertson (Kyle), Wyatt Foster, Eden Ward, Connor Ward, Samantha Cole, Sophie Ward and Loten Cole; her great grandchildren, Tucker, Kaycen and Hollis; and her siblings, Junior McWilliams (Marie), Dorothy Barr, Betty Jones and Deborah Mullins (Randall).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home (904 W Thomas E Jolly Dr, Monticello, MS 39654). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oak Vale Baptist Church Cemetery (27 4th St, Oak Vale, MS 39656).
