She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathryn Hicks Carter and Rupert Hicks. She is survived by: her husband Danny C. Hathorn; her sons, James Michael Hathorn (Amy), John Edward Hathorn (Stephane) and Danny C. Hathorn, Jr.; her sister Merry Elizabeth Hicks; her granddaughter Lauren Byrd (Peyton); her great grandchild Evelyn Byrd; her stepgranddaughters, Samantha Rinehart and Brooke Jakins; and her pet Bubba Hathorn.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home - Ocean Springs (911 Porter Ave, Ocean Springs, MS 39564). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home - Ocean Springs (911 Porter Ave, Ocean Springs, MS 39564).
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
