He is survived by: his stepmother Marie Ladner VanDeMark; his wife Janice Lee VanDeMark; his sons, Brian VanDeMark (Cathy) and Daniel VanDeMark (Kathleen); his granddaughters, Amelia Hardcastle (Austin), Elizabeth VanDeMark and Hannah VanDeMark; his great grandchild Flora Hardcastle; and his sisters, Jeanette Metcalf and Judy Wilson.
