With sadness, we share the passing of Darnel Anthony Chaisson of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Darnel, born on May 25, 1959 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed away on October 17, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Chaisson and Rowina Cormier; and his son Brandon Paul Chaisson. He is survived by: his son Justin Adam Chaisson; his brother Jonathan "Duke" Chaisson (Tina Fruge Chaisson); and his aunt Betty Hudson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Joseph's Catholic Church (2110 Claude Hebert Rd, Lake Charles, LA 70615). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
