The passing of Everett John Ferris III of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, born in Yazoo City, Mississippi leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 67. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Murrell Ferris and Nettie Grace Perrin Ferris; his brother James Murrell Ferris Jr.; and his stepmother Catherine "Cackie" McDowell Ferris. He is survived by: his daughters, Kristen Goff, Kelli Breland (Kelli) and Sarah Hudson; the mother of his children Sharon Easterling; his grandchildren, Rowen Goff, Caroline Goff and Wyatt Breland; his brother Perrin Ferris; and his cousins, Patricia Perrin Oldham and Sarah Grace Perrin Huffines.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Jay's honor to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
