He is survived by: his siblings, Suzanne "Bubba" Bates, Jesse Hill and Elizabeth Hill; his siblings' children, Jessica Hill and Gabriel Stumph; his godson James Barlow; and his godmother Shirley Mullen. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the St. Martin Shelter (1300 Walker Rd, Ocean Springs, MS 39564).
