He was predeceased by: his father Frederick William Prines Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Glenda Mary Prines; his sisters, Kristie Baloh, Victoria Dicola, Thressa Harteis and Sandra Raymon; and his children, Cecilia, Glenda, Marlie and Frederick William Prines III. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
