He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Skinner Sr. and Bertha Fryou Skinner; his brothers, Manuel Jr., Roland, Edwin and Nathaniel; and his sister-in-law Anna June Skinner.
He is survived by: his sister Birdie Mae Skinner Nell; his children, Jerry (Tammy), Larry (Linda) and Robin May (Mickey); and his grandchildren, Trini Skinner Uhlmann, Brandy Hill, Misty Bowman, Miki Zimmerman, Magen Patterson, Kelsey May and Lauren Skinner. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
