He was predeceased by: his mother Mertice Outlaw Young; his stepfather Jim Young; and his father John J. Wilkerson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Seitz Wilkerson; his children, Pamela Watson (Jimmy Watson) and Chris Wilkerson (Cindy King Wilkerson); his granddaughters, Breanne Moore and Samantha Wilkerson; and his brother John S Wilkerson (Carol Wilkerson). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
