Jerry Taranto Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2025, at the age of 86, Jerry Taranto Sr. (Ocean Springs, Mississippi) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jerry Taranto Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Taranto and Wilda Taranto; and his siblings, Shirley Francis (Michael) and Julius "Scooter" Taranto Jr. (Barbara). He is survived by: his wife Ora Lee; his brother Michael Taranto (Kathy); his sons, Jerry Taranto Jr. (Gerald), Joseph Taranto (Vicky) and Jeffrey Taranto (Robbin); and his grandchildren, Joseph Taranto Jr. (Kayla), Rachael Combs (Josh), Christy Taranto and Jorrie Letort (Jason). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (10446 Lemoyne Blvd, D'Iberville, MS 39540). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (10482 Lemoyne Blvd, D'Iberville, MS 39540). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the D'Iberville Memorial Park (11041 Gorenflo Rd, D'Iberville, MS 39540).
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the St. Vincent De Paul Society of D'Iberville (228-392-6008).
