She is survived by: her husband Patrick Daugherity; her children, Norman Merle Hawkins, Deana Marie Montesanto, Victor Hershel Hawkins and Myra Maye Seeber; and her grandchild Melissa Marie Reinike.
She acted as a private duty nurse to many coast families and opened Mary Elizabeth Hoover Foundation for Alzheimer's patients.
