We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2022, at the age of 82, Kay McBroom of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, born in Centreville, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Mildred Laird Newman and Harold R. Newman; her husband Dr. Robert; and her pet Lulu. She is survived by : her children, James Leighton McBroom (Donna) and Layna Kay McBroom; her grandchildren, Laken Alayna McBroom, Taylor Layne Tillman and Gracie Kay Tillman; and her brothers, Harold, John Newman and Richard Newman. She is also survived by niece and several nephews and many close friends.

In that regard she requested that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, the American Cancer Society or any charity in her honor.
