She was predeceased by: her parents, James Blackburn and Camille Blackburn; her daughters, Maria Martin and Samantha Brown; her grandchildren, Alex Cheatham and Lucy Brown; her great grandchild Rowan Cannette; her brother James C. Blackburn; and her significant other George Gooding.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Jan Blackburn; her children, Michelle Cannette, Carolyn Nelson, Michael Welborn and Scott Cheatham; her grandchildren, Clay, Cade Cheatham, Thomas Cannette, Haley Hill, Melissa, Stephanie Smith, Julia and Jessica Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Jayden, Braxton Cheatham, Jordan Cannette, Romeo Hill of Johan Hill, A. J., Alex Rouse and Amelia Baker.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Southern Mississippi Funeral Services (6631 Washington Ave, Ocean Springs, MS 39564). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
