She was predeceased by : her parents, John Ollin Ball and Emma Smith Ball (Donnis C. Lyon) of Louin; her siblings, Ruby Doris Ball, Vaudie Vee Ball Bonner (O. D. Bonner), Olen Ball, Dr. Billie Joe Ball and George Ball; and her siblings-in-law, Delores Lyon Reeves, Felton Reeves and Dorman Lyon.

She is survived by : her sons, Kenneth Lyon (Donna Ford Lyon) of Ridgeland, Mississippi, Dr. Keith Lyon (Laura Ward Lyon) of Lake Lanier, Georgia and Kevin Lyon (Tina Boykin Lyon) of Laurel; her siblings, Donald Ball (Betty) of Galveston, Floyd Ball (Linda) of Katy, Texas, Faye Ball Boone (Charles Boone) of Laurel and Dr. Shirley Ball Harris; her sisters-in-law, Jean Thornton Ball (late Billie Joe Ball) of Starkville, MS and Doris Lowe Lyon (late Dorman Lyon) of Laurel; her grandchildren, Sara Lyon Zavala (Irving) of Oak Grove, MS, William Lyon of Modesto, California, Kelsey Lyon of Sheridan, Wyoming and Rachel Lyon of Ridgeland, MS.; and her great grandchild Alex Kevin Zavala of Oak Grove, MS..

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Shady Grove in Laurel, MS. A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Shady Grove. A burial was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at the Shady Grove Baptist Cemetery.
