With sadness, we share the passing of Mary Marr Dunlop Beckman of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Mary Marr, born on February 12, 1938 in Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away on July 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton L. Beckman; and her sister Nelle Hall. She is survived by: her children, Mary Chris Marx (Richard), Beverly Beckman and Cynthia Warth (Mack); her granddaughter Courtney Freeman (Shawn); her great grandchildren, Chase, Channing and Freya; her brothers, William B. Dunlop and Fred W. Dunlop (Jackie); her brother-in-law Glenn Hall; her friends, Joanne Pollina, Pat Joachim and Leslie Hensarling of Vital Caring; and her caregiver Shelby Ellers. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Jackson County Animal Shelter in Gautier, Mississippi in honor of Mary Marr's generous spirit and lifelong love of helping animals.
