Mayla leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mayla’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Friebele and Loucile Jerome Kelly Friebele; and her brothers, James "Jimmy" Friebele and Leary Friebele. She is survived by: her husband James Duncan "Jim" Comeaux; her children, Kate Loucile Hurley and Daniel James Comeaux; her daughter-in-law Andrea Beltran Landers; and her grandson Luke Beltran Comeaux.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531).
