He was predeceased by: his wife Gail Carpenter; and his parents, Everett Carpenter and Mabel. He is survived by: his children, Sean M. Carpenter (Kim) of Louisville, KY, April K. Carpenter of Lake Elsinore, CA, J. Scott Dixon (Conny) of Phoenix, AZ, Sandi L. Dominey of Phoenix, AZ and Darci M. Gilreath of Monticello, GA; and his siblings, Marla, Jeff, Gina of Pahrump, NV and Myra of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
