She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shimp and Helen Shimp; her brother Bill Shimp; and her grandson Carter Bourque (Rusty Hobbs). She is survived by: her children, Kandise Courtney and Douglas Courtney; her grandchildren, Aidon Bourque, Mary Rea and Cealey Courtney; and her sisters, Billye "Bebe" Dietrich, Debbie Cadena and Lynn Watts (Steve Galle). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
