She was predeceased by: her parents, Booker T. Ware and Mary Ware; her husband Jimmie Lee; her son Tyrone; and her siblings, Annie Mae, Mozelle, Etta, Willie T and Booker T.
She is survived by: her children, David Lee Gates Sr., Mable Yvonne Brackens, Paula Richardson (Angelo) and Selena Tate (David); her sister Mamie Stanfield; and her sister-in-law Patricia Ware. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving family and friends.
