He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Franks and Lillie Mae Franks; his wife Barbara Franks; and his brother Wayne Franks. He is survived by: his children, Eric Franks (Laken) of Fulton, Beth Hughes (Andy) of Wren, Mandy Crane (Joey) of Amory and Jamie Long (Amanda) of Amory; his grandchildren, Jamie Nicole House, Cade Franks, Abbi Crane, Olivia Crane, AJ Hughes, Easton Brock, Cane Franks and Noah Franks; his siblings, Darrell Franks (Celessicca) and Delores Anderson; and his close friend Donna Franks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethany Church (2148 Hwy 32, Egypt, MS 38860). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Larry Dale Franks, 73, passed to his heavenly home on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from complications of Parkinson's at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
