She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Athene Sowell and William Chesley Sowell; her husband Loren Ward; and her brother William Chesley Sowell III. She is survived by: her children, Monnie Huckaby of Southaven, MS, Debra "Debbie" Savage of Germantown, TN, Julia Paxton (Mike) of Germantown and Loren Ward Jr. (Lisa) of Hernando, MS. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren.
