He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Warner Ray and Virginia Ruth Overton Ray; and his sons, Charles Warner Ray, Jr. and Robert Lynn Ray. He is survived by: his wife Joetta Byrum Ray; his children, Carol Denise Behr (Tim) and Jack Warren Ray (Julie); his granddaughters, Robin Byrd (Michael), Candy Avery (Thomas) and Georgia Ray; and his great grandchildren, Emma Byrd and Stella Avery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home (5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119).
