We announce the death of Christopher John Burkhalter (Olive Branch, Mississippi), who passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 57. Christopher will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Christopher will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Christopher will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Christopher’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vol Burkhalter and Paula Burkhalter; and his grandmother Hildegard Anders. He is survived by: his son Nathan Burkhalter; his wife Alexis Burkhalter; his son Jake; and his siblings, James Burkhalter (Judy), Mark Burkhalter (Molly) and Linda Stringer (Gary). He is also survived by family members and close friends.
