He is survived by: his children, Tammy Skinner, David "Bubba" Skinner, Jr., Ray Skinner (Traci), Stephen Skinner (Melinda) and Robert Skinner (Jennie); his grandchildren, Trey Skinner, Morgan Hurdle (Hunter), Allie Skinner, Cole Skinner, Ben Skinner (Meredith), Sydney Skinner, Lindsey Grace Skinner and Luke Skinner; his great grandchildren, Lily Kate Hurdle, Charlotte Louise Hurdle, Eli Hurdle and Jane Skinner; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Skinner, Lena Gregory, Glenda Gregory and Sam Gregory (Charlotte). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Crossroads Baptist Church (125 S Houston Levee Rd, Eads, TN 38028). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Gerizim Cemetery (989 Graham Ave, Myrtle, MS 38650).
