She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Earnest and Elizabeth Earnest; her husband Arthur Monroe Miller; her grandson Chase Joyner; and her siblings, Richard "Buddy", Dotson "Fuzz", Faye, Sarah, Ruby Nell, Carolyn and Betty.

She is survived by : her son Danny Dewayne Joyner (Angela Black); her grandchildren, Andon Shae Joyner (Kimberly) and Danielle Nicole Joyner (Alex Moore); and her great grandchildren, Brayden Shae Joyner and Wyatt Grey Joyner.
