Mary Agnes Robey Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 23, 2023, at the age of 90, Mary Agnes Robey of Olive Branch, Mississippi, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Robey; her parents, Clifton Carl Smoot, Sr. and Mary Lavonia Thomas Smoot; and her siblings, Clifton Carl Smoot, Jr., Thomas Belt Smoot and Esther Mae Freeland.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Ellen Shears; her grandchildren, Clayton Shears (Melynn) of Cristan, Ryan Matthew Shears (Amber Rose) and Robbie Shears; her nephew Craig Dresser (Linda); and her close friend Elizabeth Carpenter. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in her honor to the Rejoice Angel Tree which is an organization through Rejoice church where they help provide food and Christmas presents to orphans across the world.
