He is survived by: his wife Betty Marr Duncan of Ingrams Mill; his sons, Melvin "Ray" Duncan, Jr. (Tessa) of Ingrams Mill and James "Ronnie" Duncan (Heather) of Ingrams Mill; his grandchildren, Tera Duncan of Ingrams Mill, Jesse Duncan (Carlye) of Ingrams Mill and John-Kaleb Chance (Anna) of Harmontown, MS; his great grandchild Collins Duncan of Ingrams Mill; and his siblings, Eva Murphy of Ingrams Mill, Martha Gadd (Millard) of Ingrams Mill and A. J. Duncan (Susie).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his name to Fountainhead Cemetery.
