She was predeceased by : her mother Barbara Ann Peterson. She is survived by : her husband Gerald Patterson, Sr.; her children, Jerrell Patterson (Erica), Donald Patterson (Tanisha), Gerald Patterson Jr. and Geralyn "Ashley" Patterson Amos (Marquis); her grandchildren, Tania, Tyler, Jaylen, Taneia, Samiyah, Aiden, John and Artemis; and her siblings, Donald Peterson (Tonya), Myron Peterson and Ebony Jones.

Tinnona gave others the gift of life, through organ donation, as her last final act of love.
