He is survived by: his children, Alluwee "Alli" (Dave Roberts) of Baton Rouge, LA and Charles Sanders Sims Jr. "Little Sandy" (Meagan) of Osyka, MS.; his siblings, Donna Sims and Ed Sims (Aimee); his sisters-in-law, Sally (Dudley Lampton) of Brookhaven, MS, Gina (Jay Alvaro) of Austin, TX and Kayla Blackwell of Gonzales, LA.; and his grandchildren, Allegra Theodora Forstmann, Culver Vail Sims, Isabel Grace Roberts and Truett Anderson Sims.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rabenhorst Funeral Home (11000 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 1:30 PM.
