David R. Godbold Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of David R. Godbold of Osyka, Mississippi is shared. David, born on December 1, 1949, passed away on October 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ray and Maria Tillman Godbold. He is survived by: his children, Mikey Godbold (Laci), Cyndi Laciura (Cole), Britni Davis (Ruston), Whitni Simmons (Adam), Courtni Elliott (Joey) and Anna Fraiser; his grandchildren, Ginger Godbold, Beau Laciura, Allie Laciura, Eli Simmons and Lucy Jo Elliott; and his siblings, Jimmy Godbold (Betty) and Ingrid Hoff (Artie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the West McComb Baptist Church (4016 MS-24 W, McComb, MS 39648). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
