She is survived by: her sister Althea Dell Rhodes (Gary); her children, Jennifer Thornton (Dwayne) and Jason Johnson; and her grandchildren, Christopher Pitts (April), Andrew Thornton (Brittnie), John Cody Thornton, Austin Lowery and Paige Johnson. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
