He was predeceased by: his grandson Kaleb Upshaw; his parents, Matthew Upshaw and Alma Vesta Upshaw; and his brother Toby Upshaw. He is survived by: his wife Janice West Upshaw of Ovett; his sons, Wayne Upshaw of Hattiesburg and Michael Upshaw of Richton; and his grandchildren, Karlie Upshaw, Jackson Upshaw and Eli Upshaw. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
