She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie Fred Nabors and Claytie Evelyn Fisher Nabors; her grandparents, Jannie Mae Davis Fisher, Lacie Richmond "Bear" Fisher, Ary Lue German Heard and Richard Nabors; her sister Donna Sue Nabors Walton; and her aunts, Dorothy Jean Fisher Mitchell, Lucille Jernigan, Bernice Phillips, Verla Gordan, Elmyra German and Alice Clopton.

She is survived by : her daughters, LaShonda Shamekia Nabors of Memphis, TN, Shonta LaTeshia Nabors Williams (Tyrone) of Memphis, TN and Ashley Monique Nabors of Oxford, MS; her sisters, Shari Thomas (Michael) of Madison, MS, Angela Whitfield (James) of Memphis, TN and Joyce Nabors Mathis of Fulton, MS; her sister-in-law Anita Nabors; her cousins, Cheretha Mithcell Yarber, James Elwood Mitchell, Darrell Bernard Mitchell and Jan Kay Sandra Mitchell; her aunt Mary Shumpert (Earnest) of Fulton, MS; and her brother Fredrick LeShelton Nabors.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the L. Hodges Funeral Service (38-F Hwy 334, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at the Oxford Memorial Cemetery North 16th.
