He was predeceased by: his parents, Brady M. Pickett and Zelma Baker Pickett; and his siblings, Frances Pickett, James Edward Pickett, Jack Pickett and Jerry Pickett.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Moore "Pattie" Pickett of Pope; his children, James M. Pickett (late Stephanie) of Pope, Penny E. Decker (John) of Victoria, TX, Mandy Worsham (Phillip) of Kat Springs, TX and Patrick B. Pickett (Roxann) of Victoria, TX; and his stepdaughter Ashley Thorgmorton of Pope. He is also survived by grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
