With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlotte Dacus of Oxford, Mississippi, who passed away on September 12, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Lambert and Theadus Dodds Breedlove; her brother Johnny Mac Lambert; her stepfather Carmon Breedlove; and her stepsiblings, Randall Breedlove and Charlotte Crystal.

She is survived by: her husband Marvin Watson Dacus, Sr. of Oxford, MS; her children, Paula Childress (Ricky) of Oxford, MS and Marty Dacus of Lincolnton, NC; her sister Bobbie Hester (Lynn) of Marion, AR; her sister-in-law Susan Lambert of Booneville, MS; her stepbrother Gary Breedlove of Booneville, MS; her grandchildren, Barrett Childress of San Antonio, TX and Chloe Childress of Oxford, MS; and her nephews, Bryson Lambert of Booneville, MS and Chris Hester (Kim) of Coldwater, MS..
