He was predeceased by: his parents, James Murry Mooney and Marie McCain Mooney; and his brother Jimmy Mooney. He is survived by: his wife Joy Brown Mooney of Oxford; his sons, Glen Mooney (Amy-Lynn) of Oxford, Jeremy Mooney of Oxford and Derek Mooney (Holly) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Aubree Mooney, Lila Mooney, Maggie Mooney, Haddie Mooney and Max Mooney; his sister-in-law Harryette Mooney of Oxford; and his nephews, Rob Mooney (Lisa) of Oxford and Jamey Mooney (Patti) of Oxford.
