He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Ivy; his children, Tasha Ivy of Olive Branch, MS, Marcus Ivy (Patrice) of Chicago, IL, LaKeisha Ivy of Oxford, MS, LaTeisha Ivy of Oxford, MS and Michael Stokes of Des Moines, Iowa; his sisters, Jelene Hill (Curlie) of Oxford, MS and Ruth Nichols (Patrick) of Norwalk, Iowa; his sisters-in-law, Mae Della Marzette of Etta, MS and Juanita Ivy of Milwaukee, WI; and his close friends, Minnie Cooper, George Sullivan, James Milliner, Danny Buford, Curtis Owens, Willie Frierson, David Hilliard, James Martin and Russell Boles, Sr.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
