He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Sockwell and Shirley Marie Clark Sockwell; and his sister Linda Marie Mize. He is survived by: his children, Ali Sockwell of Moss Point, MS, Wayne Sockwell of Tupelo, MS and Greg Sockwell (Jennifer) of Glen, MS; his brother Robert Sockwell of Oxford; and his grandchildren, Allen Sockwell, Samuel Sockwell, Cade Sockwell and Janae Bailey Sockwell.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those wishing to honor David's memory consider performing an act of kindness in his name.
