It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Max Ewing (Oxford, Mississippi), who passed away on May 4, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Max Douglas and Pebble Frost Ewing; his daughter Amie Lynn; his wife Rita James Ewing of Oxford; his children, Sandi Ewing Reed (David) of Oxford and Donald Bradley "Brad" Ewing (Toni) of Oxford; his siblings, Leesa Clark (Billy) of Oxford, Kendall Lane Rikard (Pat) of Oxford and Douglas Wayne "Doug" Ewing (Dana) of Oxford; and his grandchildren, Carter Max Ewing, Amie Katherine Reed, Sara Bradley Ewing, Lawson David Reed, Cooper Lee Ewing and Case William Ewing. He was also cherished by his wife, son and son-in-law but becoming a grandfather and hunting with his grandchildren.
