She is survived by: her children, Ebony Smith and Alexis Smith; her grandchildren, Willow, Zy'Nariya and Kaylen; her siblings, Phyllis Jewell of Oxford, MS, LaConger Shelton (Darrell), Wanda Goolsby of Memphis, TN, Ramona Coppage of Memphis, TN, James "Fucha" Cohran (Karen) and Anthony "Tony" Goolsby; her sister-in-law Denise (Ike Goolsby); and her friend Pamela Ross. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the L. Hodges Funeral Service (721 Damascus Rd, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Tallahatchie-Oxford Missionary Baptist Association Building (20 MS-334, Oxford, MS 38655). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the East St. Peter M. B. Church (274 Co Rd 215, Abbeville, MS 38655).
