It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey Joiner (Oxford, Mississippi), born in Batesville, Mississippi, who passed away on February 3, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Joiner and Annie Bell Avant Joiner; his wife Myrtle Mae; and his siblings, James L, Willy, Angie, Thelma and Rose.

He is survived by: his son Tracy Joiner; his siblings, Columbus Jr. and Clara Bell-Henderson; his grandchildren, Shaquore, Dominique, Camry, Tristan and Taylor; and his great grandchild Zaiyah Jeter.
