She is survived by: her children, Betty Nicks (William) of Abbeville, Lee Edward Lipsey of Oxford, Mississippi, Julie Lipsey of Oxford, Mississippi, Annette Pegues of Oxford, Mississippi and Sharron Lipsey of Oxford, Mississippi; her sister Alice Faye Pegues of Oxford, Mississippi; her cousin Eddie Lou Pegues of Oxford, Mississippi; her daughter-in-law Faristeen Lipsey of Abbeville, MS.; and her siblings-in-law, Burnice "Becky" Thompson, Mae Rita Thompson, Elaine Thompson Pegues and John Henry Thompson (Jessie) of Oxford. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
